EDA members can earn accreditation points by participating in the EDP Bootcamp.

The Economic Development & Planning (EDP) Bootcamp provides an opportunity for Economic Development Practitioners from various regions and organisations to develop their professional capabilities, networks and access to resources.

Aim

The Economic Development Practitioner Bootcamp aims to provide participants with strategic and practical insights and understanding into a range of contemporary influences and issues relevant to economic development.

Learning Objectives

The Economic Development Practitioner Bootcamp has the following learning objectives:-

  • The identification and development of a deeper understanding of key trends and influences relevant to economic development and their likely implications for strategy development and program implementation
  • The identification and development of an greater understanding of practical methodologies and tools to assist the economic development process

    Study Tour

    Join EDA for a walking tour around some of the exciting projects and precincts in the heart of Bendigo that are being leveraged off to secure the city's future prosperity.

    The tour will conclude with a visit to the renowned Bendigo Art Galley. Tour commences and finishes at the Capital Theatre, 50 View St.
    6.00pm - 10.00pm

    Dinner

    A special Gala Dinner will be held at the Bendigo Airport. (My Jet Hangar, Bendigo Airport, 35 Victa Rd. Bendigo East) - a free bus will pick guests up from the Capital Theatre at 5.45pm, and drop guests back at the conclusion of the dinner. Parking is available at the airport.
